Commitments

We have taken the PVC-Free Pledge

Enviro Packaging Solutions specifies only 100% post-consumer RPET plastic.  This material contains no polyvinyl chlorides (PVCs).  According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, vinyl chloride, the primary feedstock used in manufacturing PVC, is associated with liver cancer in humans.

Recently, considerable concern has been expressed about possible health effects of bisphenol A (BPA).  Rest assured, RPET plastic does not contain BPA.  We endorse the PVC-Free Pledge of the Center for Health, Environment & Justice.

Abiding by the "Green Guides"

We strongly support and abide by the Federal Trade Commission’s Guides for the Use of Environmental Marketing Claims (16 CFR 260), known as the “Green Guides.”  We believe every business should have guidelines and a sense of accountablity towards stated goals.  The "Green Guides" are an approriate way for enviromentally focused companies to meat those external guidelines.

We are a Green Business Network

Enviro Packaging Solutions is proud to be a member of Co-op America’s Green Business Network.  Co-op America’s screening committee has reviewed our products and practices, providing their independent confirmation seal on our social and environmental responsibility practices.
